Newsletter Subscribers

What are newsletter subscribers?

When customers sign up for a back-in-stock notification, they can also opt in to your newsletter by checking a checkbox on the subscription form. These customers are saved as newsletter subscribers.

Newsletter subscribers are separate from back-in-stock subscriptions. Even if a customer's back-in-stock subscription becomes inactive, their newsletter opt-in remains.

Where can I see my newsletter subscribers?

Go to the Newsletter page in Storebeep. You will see:

  • Subscribers this month: How many new newsletter signups you got this month
  • Last month: How many you got last month (for comparison)
  • Total unique subscribers: The total count of unique email addresses that opted in

Below the summary, there is a table listing every newsletter subscriber with the date they signed up.

How do I turn newsletter collection on or off?

Go to Settings > Customize Appearance > Subscriber Form. You will see a toggle for the newsletter checkbox. You can:

  • Turn the checkbox on or off
  • Change the label text (default: "Subscribe to our newsletter")
  • Choose whether it is checked by default

Can I export my newsletter subscriber list?

Yes, on the Pro plan and above. Go to the Newsletter page and click Export CSV. You will get a CSV file with all unique newsletter email addresses.

You can import this list into your email marketing tool to send newsletters, promotions, or product updates.

Does Storebeep send newsletters?

No. Storebeep is focused on back-in-stock notifications. The newsletter collection feature simply gathers email addresses that you can use with your preferred email marketing tool.

For sending newsletters, we recommend using a dedicated tool like Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Shopify Email.
