General
Does Storebeep slow down my store?
No. Storebeep only loads its JavaScript on pages where a product is out of stock. For pages with in-stock products, there is zero performance impact.
Does Storebeep work with all Shopify themes?
Storebeep works with the vast majority of Shopify themes, both free and paid. If you are using a heavily customized theme and the automatic button placement does not work, you can use the manual theme block instead. See Widget Placement Options.
Can my customers sign up for the same product more than once?
No. Storebeep automatically prevents duplicate subscriptions. If a customer tries to sign up with the same email for the same product variant, they will not be added twice. If they were previously notified and the product went out of stock again, their existing subscription is reactivated automatically.
What happens when I uninstall and reinstall the app?
Your data (subscribers, settings, templates) is preserved. When you reinstall, Storebeep reconnects to your existing store data and everything picks up where it left off.
Emails
Can I customize the email that gets sent?
Yes. You can choose from pre-built templates or create your own custom HTML template (on the Pro plan and above). Go to the Email page to browse templates or design your own.
Who do the emails come from?
By default, emails are sent from "Your Store Name via Storebeep" using the Storebeep email address. On the Ultra plan, you can set up a custom sender domain so emails come from your own address.
Where do customer replies go?
Customer replies go to the Reply-To email address you have set in Email > Email Configuration. Make sure this is an email you actually check.
Can customers unsubscribe from notifications?
Yes. Every notification email includes an unsubscribe link. When a customer clicks it, they are unsubscribed from notifications for that specific product. They can always sign up again later if they want.
Are the "via Storebeep" branding and attribution shown on paid plans?
No. The "via Storebeep" label and the email footer attribution are only shown on the Free plan. Paid plans send clean, unbranded emails.
Subscribers
Is there a limit on how many subscribers I can collect?
No. All plans support unlimited subscribers. There is no cap on how many customers can sign up for notifications.
Can I delete a subscriber?
Yes. On the Requests > Subscribers tab, you can select subscribers and delete them. This is a permanent action and cannot be undone.
How long are subscriptions active?
Subscriptions stay active until the customer is notified, purchases the product, unsubscribes, or the subscription expires due to extended inactivity.
Plans and billing
How do I see my current plan?
Go to the Plans page. You will see your plan name, email usage, and a list of available features.
Do unused email credits roll over?
No. Email credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. Unused credits from the previous period do not carry over.
