Customizing the Button Appearance
How do I change how the Notify Me button looks?
- Open Storebeep in your Shopify admin.
- Go to Settings.
- Click Customize Appearance in the Back-in-Stock Button section.
- A panel will open where you can change everything about the button and the subscription form.
What can I customize?
Button styling
- Button text (default: "Notify me when available")
- Background color
- Text color
- Border color, width, and radius (for rounded corners)
- Font size
- Button type: inline (appears where the Add to Cart button is), floating (appears as a floating button), or both
AI Style Detection
This is turned on by default. When enabled, Storebeep automatically copies the look of your existing Add to Cart button, matching the colors, font, and shape so the Notify Me button blends in naturally with your theme.
You can turn this off if you prefer to set the styling manually.
Collection page button
You can set separate styling for the Notify Me button that appears on collection pages. This is useful if your collection layout needs a different button size or style.
Subscription form
When a customer clicks the Notify Me button, a form pops up. You can customize:
- Form title (default: "Notify me when available")
- Form description (default: "We will notify you when this product is restocked.")
- Submit button text
- Email field label and placeholder text
- Phone/WhatsApp field: enable or disable, change the label, placeholder, and default country code
- Newsletter checkbox: enable or disable, change the label, set whether it is checked by default
Confirmation message
After a customer subscribes, they see a confirmation. You can customize:
- Title (default: "You're on the list!")
- Message (default: "We will notify you as soon as this product is restocked.")
- Button text
Can I preview my changes?
Yes. The Appearance panel includes a live preview that shows how the button and form will look. You can toggle between desktop and mobile views.
My changes are not showing up on the store
After saving your changes in the Appearance panel, you may need to clear your browser cache or check in an incognito window. Changes should appear right away, but browser caching can sometimes delay things.
