Newsletter and WhatsApp Collection
Can I collect newsletter signups through the Notify Me form?
Yes. By default, the subscription form includes a newsletter opt-in checkbox. When customers check it, their email is saved as a newsletter subscriber in addition to the back-in-stock subscription.
You can manage this from Settings > Customize Appearance > Subscriber Form:
- Enable or disable the newsletter checkbox
- Change the label text (default: "Subscribe to our newsletter")
- Set whether it is checked by default
Where can I see newsletter subscribers?
Go to the Newsletter page in Storebeep. You will see:
- Total unique newsletter subscribers
- Subscribers this month
- A list of all newsletter emails with the date they signed up
You can also export this list as a CSV file (available on Pro plan and above).
Can I collect WhatsApp numbers?
Yes. You can enable a phone number field in the subscription form. Go to Settings > Customize Appearance > Subscriber Form and turn on the phone/WhatsApp field.
You can customize:
- Field label
- Placeholder text
- Default country code (default: +1)
When enabled, customers can optionally enter their phone number along with their email.
Are newsletter and WhatsApp fields required for customers?
No. Email is the only required field. The newsletter checkbox and WhatsApp number are always optional for your customers.
How do I use the newsletter data I collect?
The newsletter subscriber list is available for export as a CSV file. You can import this into your email marketing tool (like Klaviyo, Mailchimp, or Shopify Email) to send marketing campaigns.
Storebeep focuses on back-in-stock notifications. For ongoing marketing emails, we recommend using a dedicated email marketing app alongside Storebeep.
