Notification Settings
Where do I find notification settings?
Go to the Email page and click the Email Configuration tab. You will see several sections for controlling how notifications work.
Store Logo
Upload your store logo so it appears in all notification emails. You can:
- Paste a URL to your logo image
- Upload a file directly (PNG, JPG, GIF, WebP, or SVG, up to 20MB)
If you do not upload a logo, a default placeholder will be used.
Sender Settings
This controls who the email appears to be "from" when customers receive it.
Default (Free plan): Emails are sent as "Your Store Name via Storebeep" from the Storebeep email address.
Custom sender (available on higher plans): You can send emails from your own domain (e.g., [email protected]). This requires setting up domain verification. See the Custom Sender Domain section for details.
You can also set:
- From Name: The name customers see in their inbox (e.g., "Your Store Name")
- Reply-To Email: Where replies go if a customer replies to the notification email
Notification Preferences
Max notifications per subscriber
Controls how many back-in-stock emails a subscriber receives before Storebeep stops sending to them. You can set this between 1 and 5.
Default: 1
For example, if set to 1, each subscriber gets one email when the product is restocked. If the product goes out of stock and comes back again, the subscriber is re-enrolled and can receive another notification.
If set to 3, the subscriber can receive up to 3 notifications across multiple restock events before they need to re-subscribe.
Minimum quantity for notification
The minimum number of units that need to be in stock before Storebeep sends notifications.
Default: 1
Setting this higher (e.g., 5 or 10) is useful if you want to make sure you have enough inventory to handle the incoming orders before alerting subscribers.
