The Notify Me Button Is Not Showing Up
Check these things first
1. Is the app embed activated?
This is the most common reason. Open Storebeep and look for a banner at the top of the Dashboard or Settings page. If it says the app embed is not active, click Activate App Embed and follow the instructions.

2. Is the product actually out of stock?
The Notify Me button only appears when a product or variant has zero inventory. If the product still has stock available, the regular Add to Cart button will show instead.
To test, set a product's inventory to 0 in your Shopify admin, then check the product page on your storefront.
3. Are you looking at the right variant?
If a product has multiple variants (like different sizes or colors), the Notify Me button only appears when the selected variant is out of stock. Try selecting an out-of-stock variant from the dropdown.
4. Is your browser showing a cached version?
Try viewing your store in an incognito or private browser window. Your browser may be caching an older version of the page.
You can also try a hard refresh (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows, Cmd+Shift+R on Mac).
5. Did you save the theme after activating?
After turning on the app embed toggle in the theme editor, make sure you clicked Save. The toggle alone does not save automatically.
6. Are you using a different theme?
The app embed needs to be activated separately for each theme. If you recently switched themes or are previewing a different theme, activate the embed in that theme too.
7. Is your theme heavily customized?
Some highly customized themes use non-standard product page layouts that make it difficult for the automatic detection to find the right placement.
In this case, try using the manual theme block instead:
- Go to your theme editor
- Add the Notify Me Button block to your product page
- Place it where you want the button to appear
- Save the theme
